Exciting News!

Home Sweet Home.

I can't believe my last blog post was many months ago... I sincerely apologize to you for my absence. If you are still checking in here, THANK YOU. And if you are a new reader, WELCOME!!

As you know, life happens and things can get crazy and busy at the same time. It has been both for us. But we have some very exciting news to share! We are moving!!!

Ironically, we are only moving 5 miles away (as the crow flies), but we have finally found our dream property. 40 acres of beautiful, relatively flat, forested land in the mountains! I have sat & looked out our living room windows at this mountain location for over 9 years. It still is hard to believe it is all ours.

My dreams of a real homestead are coming to fruition. Plenty of room for livestock, barns, chicken coops, gardens, studios, workshops, a homebrewery, hop trellises, teepees, glamping tents, and an Airstream pad. Room to grow, room to create, room to share, room to breathe. With views of the Continental Divide to inspire.

We are blessed to be on this new & exciting journey. I hope you will follow along, and be inspired to make your dreams come true, too.

Weekend Reading

via Pinterest

Hi, friends! Happy Friday the 13th! How was your week? Well, it's currently snowing & the wood stove is cranking here. I can't believe Spring is just one week away! Woo hoo! All of the Spring-y images around the internet have me ready to put away my warm clothes & break out the tank tops, maxi dresses & flip flops. I think the beautiful bohemian girl above captures the feeling of Spring perfectly. And how amazing is her hair?! Have a fabulous weekend!

Here is what caught my eye this week:

Loving this macrame swing! {See more of my current Etsy favorites.}

Stacked boho bracelets. A major do!

A fun DIY: How to make beeswax candles.

What's New & Hot for the Garden in 2015.

A recipe to try: Tagliatelle with Lemon Roasted Chicken. {I buy / like Jovial Gluten Free Tagliatelle Pasta. My local Whole Foods carries it.}

And this is the super easy Roasted Chicken recipe I use all the time.

Weekend Reading

via Domaine

Happy Friday! What a whirlwind February for us. Traveling for 2 weeks during the shortest month of the year sure makes a month go by FAST! Now I'm playing catch up, plus I need to get started on our taxes. My very least favorite thing to do. But I hope to get back to my regular blogging schedule soon. I have lots to share with you. Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Here is what caught my eye this week:

The lounging bed above looks like something that might be easy to make. I would love to have one to cozy up on!

I think I need more shelves in my life.

A water candle. Lovely!

Dry body brushing. Have you tried it?

The perfect boho wedges for summer.

The ultimate clean eating shopping list.

A recipe to try: Thai cashew coconut rice with ginger peanut sauce. Yum! Gluten free, too.

And a Gluten Free Farmer's Market Cornbread recipe.

Weekend Reading

via The Design Files

Happy Friday! How was your week? We finally had a nice snow storm at our house on Wednesday. It has been a pretty dry winter here in the foothills so far. I heard it might hit 70 degrees in Denver on Monday! Is this really January?! I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Here is what caught my eye this week:

How to rent a Swedish cottage. My great-great grandparents immigrated to the US from Sweden, and I've always wanted to go there & meet my Swedish family!

A breakfast recipe to try: Gluten Free Lemon Poppy Seed Oat Pancakes.

Do you own a Beachwaver? This looks like it works really well for getting those perfect boho, beachy hair waves. I'm not sure if I can justify the price though. Thoughts?

DIY to try: Lace Twinkle Lights.

I'm obsessed with Mrs. Meyers Basil Laundry Detergent & Dryer Sheets. If you love the hand soap, you've got to try it. Your laundry will smell amazing. Promise. {This is not a paid ad, I just love it THAT MUCH.}

I didn't realize concrete planters & vases could look this pretty!

I made these French Dip / Beef Drip Sandwiches last weekend. Super easy & delicious! {I made them the first way with the pepperoncinis.}
