The First Snow of the Season & Weekend Reading

The view outside this morning.

The first snow of the season arrived overnight. Usually Fall has 'officially' arrived before it snows at our house, but this is September in the mountains! The temperature was 25 degrees when I took Niwot outside this morning. Brr... definitely not ready for cold weather yet! I'm hoping our hops made it through unscathed; they weren't ready to harvest & the weather is going to warm back up into the 60s this weekend. Fingers crossed! In other news, we are in the process of building a firewood shed; it's something we've been meaning to do for the past 5 years, and I'm happy we finally are getting it done. I'll post photos & a few details when it is finished, in case you need a little firewood shed inspiration. Well, time to go stoke the fire in the wood stove! Have a lovely weekend, friends!

Here is what caught my eye this week:

Every home should have a statement chair. I'd love this one!

Currently reading: The Nesting Place {I highly recommend it.}

Succulents 101. Grow them indoors during Fall & Winter.

A cute faux fur cowl.

This Vogue fashion shoot with Blake Lively in Jackson Hole is amazing. Want. It. All.

I've got my eye on this vintage saguaro cactus cast iron pan.

Cold, snowy weather makes me want comfort food. This Gluten Free Oven Roasted Bison-Stuffed Poblano Peppers recipe looks delicious!

And an easy recipe {combining two of my favorite things}: Strawberry Balsamic Jam.
